New Liberty Brigade Campaign coming April 19, 2022
over 4 years ago – Fri, Apr 08, 2022 at 12:09:30 AM

New Liberty Brigade stories PLUS some Golden Age stories lost for 80 years and never published…until NOW!

We hope you all have received your Liberty Brigade books and love them as much as we loved making them. We learned a very crucial lesson last time around and we will never again run a campaign until the books are complete and ready to be printed and shipped!!! Take that to the bank!

Up next. from Thrilling Nostalgia Comics, is The Blue Flame #1, The Blue Flame #2and K the Unknown #1.

GET NOTIFIED of launch HERE!

The Blue Flame® #1 includes a reprint of his first appearance in Captain Flight #11 (Four Star 1947) and then two new short stories showing what happened immediately after the Captain Flight appearance..

In The Blue Flame® #2,we see the return of two Golden Age villains, THE BAT and THE VULTURE as they seek to create havoc at the Empire State Building.  Thankfully, the BLUE FLAME is on hand along with two friends, Rocket Man and Rocket Girl!  This 7-page story is written by Michael Finn with art by DC comics superstar Geraldo Borges!

And, we have a brand new "lost" Golden Age story - featuring boy detective RYAN STEELE.  This 8-page story was written, penciled, inked and lettered in 1945 but lost for nearly 80 years until we found it   We colored it and are publishing it for the very first time!

The K the Unknown, one-shot reprints the original K the Unknown’s only appearance from Prize Comics #1 (Prize 1940) and also the first appearance of Obersturmbannführer Death from Speed Comics #16 (Harvey 1942). It then shows you what happened when K encountered Death, a story hinted at in the Liberty Brigade graphic novel. We are also very proud to announce that the comic contains the long-lost, first appearance of Xandu the Magician in a story that was penciled, inked and lettered nearly 80 years ago, and, at last, is being published. (**You should have received a digital copy of K as a “thank you” for our original campaign but this is your opportunity to get a physical copy).

Best,

Darrin

Holidays are OVER and we are back to shipping the Liberty Brigade books - please be patient as we pack and ship - you will receive an update from Newkadia who is handling shipping -- and, in February, one LAST Surprise, we are shipping digitally to all of you this free comic which features a new story featuring the cover character BUT for all who have already received the book, lets' not ruin the surprise PLUS the first appearance of a lost golden age hero (meaning someone who was created in 1944/1945 but hasn't seen the light of day until NOW).  For those of you who have received your books, please don't ruin the surprise if you guess who the cover character is!
