Latest Updates from Our Project:

Here is the last page for the Encyclopedia
almost 5 years ago – Sat, Jun 08, 2019 at 03:07:32 AM

We know we've been late so we've tried to add a few upgrades and the Temporal Comics encyclopedia entries usually show a few panels of the 1940s characters except there are a few characters that are brand new and while the main drawings were penciled, inked and colored, we realized there were no panels -- we didn't want to slow our main teams down but also didn't want to give you all less then the best so what to do?  What to do?

Here is what we did -- we went ahead and hired DC and former Justice League of America penciler Chuck Patton to create some panels and hired Marvel/DC/every comic company you can name inker Rodney Ramos to ink them so that we would not slow down our great teams on the main book -- here is the last of the panels Chuck penciled -- Rodney already inked the first set and Chris Sotomayor has them to color.  Today we sent Rodney the last 3 panels to ink which he'll do later this week -- then off to the great Chris Sotomayor and then the encyclopedia is done.

Hope you enjoy the sneak peek!!

Thank you all again - we want to keep showing progress to everyone so here are two panels so we don't spoil the page colored by the brilliant Chris Sotomayor and here is part of a gorgeous splash by Barry Kitson with inks by Mick.  It is now off to Chris to color.

We'll have more Ron Frenz art to show off soon as well.

A few more panels to show off
almost 5 years ago – Thu, May 30, 2019 at 08:51:47 AM

I know I'm running behind and I apologize profusely and totally -- I keep the updates so you all can see how amazing the art is and to show you how much we are working to get everything done

-- Mark Texiera - here is a panel from Origin of Veda the Cobra Woman

-- Steve Scott & Rodney Ramos - a panel from the Origin of Lady Serpent

-- Chuck Patton - the Liberty Brigade Encyclopedia -- we felt that we should stick to the Temporal Comics layout and have a few panels for each character but since Bill of Rights and Anthem are new, we went out and commissioned Chuck Patton so we'd have some panels -- here is one -- can anyone guess the villain?

Art Preview and other news - Steranko
almost 5 years ago – Thu, May 30, 2019 at 12:06:42 AM

Backers - thank you for all of your support and I wanted to update everyone on our progress.

First, we will soon have in the store a SIGNED (limited) and an Unsigned poster of Jim Steranko's amazing cover -- this is the most patriotic cover Jim has ever done and it is phenomenal, amazing, stupendous and 100% PURE STERANKO.  Stay tuned.

Second, I wanted to show off art from various parts of the project:

1) Origins - here is a panel by Mike Dringenberg (of Sandman fame) featuring the origin of Ace Villain, Mastermind.

2) Graphic Novel - a few panels by Barry Kitson and Mick Gray featuring Misery (Hillman's most famous villain) taking on the Liberty Brigade and

3) Free .pdf - we promised a free .pdf bonus story for running late and here is a great page by Agnes "My Little Pony" Garbowska -- her style fit perfectly for the page that we had in mind and I think everyone will love this extra story.

In other surprise news, some new names have joined the fun with Rafer Roberts jumping in with The DUKE OF DARKNESS -- Jim Starlin contributing a written origin for The GENIUS (from Ace) and just wait til you see who his surprise penciler is and an amazing talent has agreed to pen the lost origin of a lost Golden Age hero - you'll just have to wait to see who the person is and which character is -- at long last -- getting an origin.  Oh, I probably didn't even mention VEDA the COBRA WOMAN by Mark Texiera and Lady Serpent by Steve Scott.
